It's hard to gloat over beating an unranked team that's 1-9 and in last place in the AAC. It's even harder to figure out why why we're even playing this team in the penultimate week of the season. But a win is a win is a win, and Georgia improves to 10-1 on the season.
For what it's worth, Nate Frazier ran for two TDs and Bo Walker ran for three. Gunner Stockton finished the day with 196 rushing yards and backup QB Ryan Puglisi came into the game midway through the third quarter.
The important game is next Friday, the big annual rivalry game with Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets are ranked higher (No. 16) than they've been for this game in many years, and even though they still won't make the playoffs, there's nothing they'd rather do more than spoil our seeding.
But it was nice this week while Georgia cruised to an easy victory to not be biting my fingernails for three hours.
