Yeva, Progressing

Landlubber that I am, I had to look up AIS to learn that it stands for Automatic Identification System. AIS and radar are vital tools for navigation and collision avoidance at sea, but AIS primarily relies on communication between vessels to share information like position, speed, and heading, while radar uses radio waves to detect and track objects, including those not equipped with AIS. So Hibbert's saying that her AIS picked up the first vessel in six days, but she didn't make visual contact.
