Red Sox 6, Orioles 5

Hey, it took 10 innings and another rain postponement last night, but Boston beat Baltimore again to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

Devers singled to center in the 10th, scoring Rafaela, to win the game. But earlier, Duran and Abreu homered in the first, Toro homered in the fifth, and Narváez and Sogard got RBIs in the sixth. Hunter Dobbins gave up four runs on five hits over four innings, but also made seven strikeouts and only gave up one walk. Six relievers later, Greg Weissert got the win in the 10th.

The Sox are back in second place, although still five back from New York, and at 27-26, are now one game over .500.

Boston managed to get Game 3 (Giolito vs. Rogers) of the series underway tonight, and are scoreless after five innings. Let's take this game and complete a sweep Baltimore tomorrow - four consecutive wins would be a nice way to close out this homestand.
