Red Sox 19, Orioles 5

Are you kidding me? Thirteen runs in the eighth inning alone? I love playing these birds!

The Red Sox made up last night's rain-delayed game with a 19-5 shellacking of the last-place Baltimore Orioles this afternoon. Rafael Devers had a career-high eight RBIs, including a grand-slam homer in the eighth and a three-run homer in the sixth. Refsnyder got a three-run homer, too. And to think, Boston trailed in this game, 2-1, entering the sixth.

Brayan Bello pitched four innings, giving up two runs on six hits with seven strikeouts, but Garrett Whitlock got the win, his third of the season.

This was supposed to be a double-header today, but the second game is currently postponed due to more rain. Maybe another try for a double tomorrow?
