Celtics 109, Magic 100

Kristaps Porziņģis sacrificed his face for this win. A wild elbow from Magic center Goga Bitadze in the third quarter left  Porziņģis with a massive, bloody gash on his forehead. But Porzingis still took his free  throws for the flagrant foul and then left for the locker room free bleeding with a towel on his head. This image will probably become the next iconic Boston sports photograph. A few stitches and bandages later, he returned to the game with a big smile on his face.

Porziņģis finished the game with 20 points and 10 rebounds, a double double, but that wasn't even the biggest story of the night. Jaylen Brown stepped up his game tonight with Tatum out with an injured wrist after his mugging in Game 1, and scored 36 points and got 10 rebounds, another double double (a double double double?).

And even THAT wasn't the biggest story. The biggest of all stories, the one that will go in the record books and be remembered, is that the defending NBA champion Boston Celtics have gone up 2-0 in the 7-game first-round series against Orlando.

Game Three is in Orlando on Friday night, 7:00 pm. Let's put this series to bed before those Florida goons bang up any more of the Celtics players because enough of these guys already!
