The B.U. women's hockey team lost a home-ice game to Vermont last night. Vermont scored four unanswered goals, three on power plays, before the Terrier's Keira Healey scored her first collegiate goal on a power play in the third. Sydney Healey added another goal, but Vermont scored a shorthanded goal late in the game for the final, 5-2 score. Michelle Pasiechnyk made 27 saves in net for the Terriers.
What can you say? The Terriers fall to 7-14-3 overall, and 5-8-2 in Hockey East play. Their 19 points are tied with Vermont at fifth place in the conference, but they'll get a chance to break that tie and avenge the loss with another home-ice game against the Cstamounts at 4:00 this afternoon.
