Stars 6, Bruins 2

I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason that Jeremy Swayman gave up six unanswered goals in Dallas, making 25 saves on 34 shots (.824). I'm sure there's an equally good reason that the Bruins waited until 6:37 minutes into the third period before replacing Swayman with Joonas Korpisalo, who stopped the scoring and went 3-for-3 the rest of the game. Geekie and Minten scored two late goals after the bleeding stopped, but it's hard to come back from 6-0, even if you're the mighty Boston Bruins.

The loss snaps a six-game win streak for Boston, who fall to 28-20-2. Despite the loss, the previous win streak built up enough of a cushion that they remain two games above the cut-off line for Wild Card eligibility.

Next game is tomorrow night in Vegas against the Golden Knights (24-12-12).
