We're No. 12!

After getting swept by Maine last weekend, the BU Terriers men's hockey team fell from No. 5 to No. 12 in yesterday's USCHO poll. The Terriers are 3-5-1 overall and are 1-3-0 in Hockey East play, sixth in the conference with four points (they get one point for the OT loss in the first of the games against Maine). They play Merrimack (3-3-0) next in a home-and-away weekend series.

The women's team (1-7-0) fell out of the rankings last week and getting swept by Northeastern last weekend didn't exactly improve their standing. They are in seventh place in Hockey East at 1-2-0, and play two games in Maine (2-6-1) next weekend.

BU's Cole Hutson leads Hockey East in points; Owen McLaughlin is second in goals and third in points. For the women, Sydney Healey is tied for second in the conference in goals and Lilli Welcke leads for faceoffs won.
