Seventh consecutive win, and only one team left on the schedule for the rest of the season with a better than .500 record. Life is good in the AFC East!
The Patriots scored one TD in each quarter of the game, two of them on TreVeyon Henderson runs of 55 and 69 yards. The other two were on Drake Maye passes, one a 1-yard pass to Stefon Diggs as the first half ended and the other a 72-yard pass to Kyle Williams at the end of the first quarter.
Maye is now 5th in the NFL with 2,285 total yards and first in percent complete (74.1%). His 116.9 QB rating is second only to Lamar Jackson of the Ravens.
The Patriots improve to 8-2, first in the AFC East (the Bills lost to the Dolphins (!) today) and tied with Indianapolis and Denver for best in the NFL.
Next up in a Thursday night game on Amazon against the hapless Jets (2-7). Early line has the Pats favored by 5½.
