Why do we always cut these things so goddamn close?
The Celtics blew a 63-49 halftime lead and then, up by 10 with 1:29 left in the game, let the Clippers go on a 10-2 run, but managed to hang on and won by three.
Brown had 33 points and 14 rebounds and Pritchard had 30. The team remained hot from three-point land, hitting 41%, with Garza going 2-2. Pritchard 8-13, White 4-8, and Scheierman 1-2. They out-rebounded the Clippers, 49 to 44.
The Celtics finally improve to .500, but with the Knicks and Raptors both off to hot starts, remain fourth out of five in the Atlantic Division. They play the lowly Nets (1-11) next on Tuesday night down in Brooklyn, so things should continue to improve. Right?
Right?
