Red Sox 9, Rockies 3

 

Four in a row! Someday, after all of these Nationals and Rockies games, we'll go back to playing professional MLB teams, but in the meantime I'm enjoying cosplaying as champions.

Roman Anthony homered, his second in the majors and first at Fenway. Rafaela and González both homered in the eighth. Meanwhile, Toro, Abreu, Duran, and Narváez all got RBI base hits. And li'l Dickie Fitts (1-3, 4.28) went 5.2 innings, struck out six, and got his first win of the season.

Four straight wins is nice, but the Sox are 6½ games back in the AL East, still closer to last place than first, and two games back from the last Wild Card spot.

But meanwhile, let's have some more Rockies! Tonight, Brayan Bello (4-3, 3.42) goes against the unfortunate Kyle Freeland (1-9, 5.49).
