Red Sox 6, Nats 4

The Boston Red Sox sweep the Washington Nationals! Hurray! That's three in a row and with the win, the team is now one game above .500!

In his Major League debut, Nats' pitcher Shinnosuke Ogasawara lasted only 2.2 innings and gave up four runs in the first inning alone, including a two-run homer to Trevor Story. Rafaela homered in the ninth, a solo shot that bookended the game with Boston home-run innings.

Crochet gets the win, his ninth, and struck out seven while only giving up two runs.

The winning streak should continue. The Sox return to Fenway for a three-game home series against the Colorado Rockies (20-59). Tomorrow, Dick Fitts (0-3, 4.50) will try to get his first win of the season against the Rockies' Austin Gomber (0-1, 5.49). Expect a lot of hits on both sides.
