Crochet power. The Red Sox snap a two-game losing streak and Crochet picks up his 11th win of the season. 

Wilyer Abreu hit a two-run homer in the seventh, but the big fireworks were in the eighth, when Bregman came off the bench to hit a three-run homer and then Abreu homered again to make it 6-1, Boston, and avoid the sweep. Crochet gave up one run on eight hits over six innings, striking out five.

It doesn't get any easier for the BoSox. Next, they go to the City of Brotherly Love for a three-game series against the Phillies (56-43). Walker Buehler (6-6, 6.12) will face Zack Wheeler (9-3, 2.36) in the opening game. Yikes!
