Obviously, a disappointing start to this road trip. But Garrett Crochet had a good outing - he gave up two runs, but he went 6.2 innings with 11 strikeouts and only two walks. However, the Boston bats didn't score a run until the 8th inning - every game lately has felt lie a pitcher's duel what with our paltry offensive effort. 

The Red Sox fall to 27-29 (.482), .001 ahead of fourth-place Toronto and seven full games back from first-place New York. And with all the injuries, it's still uncertain who will start the game on the mound tomorrow.
