. . . Aaaaaand we're back to losing again. The Braves' Spencer Schwellenbach and the Atlanta bullpen shut out the Red Sox and gave up only five hits the entire game, while Buehler gave up five runs on 10 hits in 5.2 innings. Do I have to do the math for you?

The Sox are three games back . . . from third place Toronto. They're 5½ games ahead of last place Baltimore and falling.

This road series is tied, 1-1, and the rubber game is tomorrow (1:35). Garrett Crochet (4-4, 2.04) will start against Bryce Elder (2-2, 4.50), who the Sox didn't face during the Braves' visit to Fenway.
