Forward Kaileigh Quigg scored in the first period and defender Keira Healey scored in the second. Mari Pietersen made 28 saves in the net, and while Robert Morris eventually slipped one past her in the third, BU won the game and improves to 2-5-1.
Today's win was a non-conference game in the Ice Breaker Tournament, so nothing changes in the Hockey East standings, where the Terriers are still 1-0-1 and in third place with five points, behind BC (7 points) and Northeastern.(6).
The Terriers return to conference play next weekend, when they host the Northeastern Huskies (4-1-1) for two games.
