Red Sox 2, Cubs 0

 

The Red Sox sweep Friday's doubleheader in Fenway, beating the Chicago Cubs, 2-0. All of the scoring in the entire game (both teams) came on Wilyer Abreu's double in the eighth inning, bringing home Jones and Kiner-Falefa. 

The Sox are 87-74 with one game left to this season. They'll play that last game in Tampa tomorrow to avoid the massive nor'easter barreling down on New England. Some unexpected logistical drama to end the season. Also, one less day to rest up and prepare before the Wild Card games in New York.
