Look, when you give up four goals in the third period, you're not likely to win the game.
The Bruins headed into the third up 1-0 on a Morgan Geekie first period goal, and quickly made it 2-0 with an Elias Lindholm goal. Both were assisted by Pastrnak. But then the wheels came off the cart as the Sabres scored three even-strength goals followed by an open netter. A Pasta power-play goal in the last seconds of the game made the score look a little better, but the Bruins head into the Stanley Cup playoffs ass first, losing their opening game in Buffalo.
Unless this is going to be another out-after-one-round playoff season for the Bruins, they better start playing better.
