Boston takes Game 1 of the opening playoff round decisively. The Celtics scored first in the game and never trailed after that. Jaylen scored 26 points and Jayson scored 25, along with 11 rebounds. Houser got all 12 of his points on 4-of-6 three-point shooting.

Hugo González got only one minute of playing time, but caught a defensive rebound and blocked a shot in that one minute.

Just an all-round great effort by the Celtics.

The Celtics take a 1-0 lead in the Conference Semifinals. Fifteen more wins to an NBA title.
