The BU Terriers extend their unbeaten streak to four games with a 1-1 tie with UConn down in Storrs.
Sydney Healey tied the game up at one in the second period, and then scored the first shootout goal after the game ended in a 1-1 tie and no one scored in OT. UConn scored on the next shot, but BU's Lilli Welcke hit the shootout winner to give the Terriers the extra two points in the Hockey East standings. Mari Pietersen was 42 for 42 in the net (.977).
The weekend series returns to Boston's Walter Brown Arena tomorrow (4:00 pm).
