The word "Nuuked" looks like "nuked," which would be pretty negative, but in fact all is fine and well with Capt. Ella Hibbert and the Yeva, and they have safely arrived in Nuuk, Greenland. After spending three days recuperating and riding out a storm in the small port of Paamiut, the Yeva was back at sea yesterday and pulled into Nuuk this morning.
We can expect at least a day or two in Nuuk, as Hibbert (finally) installs the cabin heater that went out on her last month between Greenland and Iceland, and replaces the malfunctioning AIS box (assuming it's arrived in Nuuk by now).
After repairs and replacements are complete, Hibbert intends to sail across the Davis Strait into Canadian waters and then past the north coast of Baffin Island.
