Yeva, Course-Corrected

It's a little over 200 miles across the Davis Strait from Greenland to Baffin Island, but for some reason after getting halfway across, the Yeva stopped sailing directly across and turned north. It could have been weather, sea ice, or a floating berg, or it could have been conditions so favorable for sailing that Captain Ella Hibbert decided to head directly into the Northwest Passage rather than hopscotch along the north coast of Baffin Island.

Whatever the  reasons and motives, she's making good progress and heading into the heart of her adventure.
