Red Sox 4, Rays 3

We did it! Seven in a row, including this win over an AL East competitor! It took a three-run seventh inning, but the Sox rose to the challenge and got it done. The big takeaway is that at 50-45, the Sox are now officially in the Wild Card standings, knocking Seattle back by one game.

Walker Buehler went six innings, giving up all three of the Rays' runs on two homers. Reliever Chris Murphy got the win, his first of the season.

More juggling of the lineup. Despite going 3-for-4 on Wednesday, Cora sat Yoshida for last night's game and put Roman Anthony in as the DH. He kept Abreu in right field, but took Rafaella off the bench and put him in center field and moved Duran from center back to left. No one knows how the lineup's going to look tonight.

It's Hunter Dobbins (4-1, 4.10) tonight up against Drew Rasmussen (7-5, 2.82). A win would move Boston ahead of Tampa Bay in the standings, and into third place in the AL East.
