Red Sox 8, Orioles 4

The Sox win their first back-to-back games of the year and their first series of the season, taking 2 of 3 games in Baltimore.

Alex Bregman got his first home run of the year, a 411-foot blast in the first inning to deep left center that also scored Rafael Devers.  Bregman brought Raffy home again in the 9th with a double to deep right center, and was brought home himself on  a Triston Casas homer to deep left center in the 7th.

Tanner Houck (6.52) went four innings with six K's, but gave up three runs, including a Cedric Mullins homer in the first. Zack Kelly (1-0) got the win.

The Sox moved up to a tie with Baltimore for fourth place in the AL East. Sure, that's still last place, but at least it isn't as lonely there as yesterday.

The Sox will head to Boston for their home opener on Friday and a weekend series against the St. Louis Cardinals (4-2).
