Red Sox 4, White Sox 3 (10 Innings)

 

A Triston Casas RBI single to left center wins the game in the 10th inning as the Red Sox win their fourth straight game. 

Devers hit a three-run homer to deep left center in the third to give Boston the lead. Pitcher Garrett Crochet gave up no runs and struck out seven and over six innings, but reliever Greg Weissert let the White Sox tie it back up in the seventh. Garrett Whitlock earned the win with shutout pitching in the 10th.

The Yankees suck. They just lost to Tampa Bay, 10-8, in 10 innings. Second place Toronto lost today too,  so Boston (12-10) is now still in third, but only one win back from first. Game three against Chicago starts tomorrow at 1:30.
