Anaheim 3, Bruins 2

After a long break for the Four Nations tournament over the all-star break, the Bruins finally resumed their season tonight with a 3-2 loss to the Anaheim Ducks. Elias Lindholm scored the first Bruins goal, a power-play goal in the second assisted by David Pastrnak. The assist, Pasta's 41st of the season, extends his point streak to 14 games with either a goal or an assist. Morgan Geekie tied the game late in the third on a goal that was reviewed by the officials for possible goalie interference but after a long stoppage was finally upheld. Tie, 2-2.

But all for naught. The Ducks scored a goal 3:39 into the first OT and won the game, handing Boston their third straight loss. The Bruins haven't won a game since February 4.

Next game is another home ice affair, this time against the Maple Leafs.
