Celtics Edge Pelicans, 118-116, In Nail-Biter

 

Exciting game. Tatum won this one for Boston with a 21-foot pullup jumper from the left wing with 0.7 seconds left in the game, and finished the night with a 27-point, 10 assist double double. Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 28 points, Porzingis and White both had 16, and Holiday and Horford (back in the lineup) both had 4. 

Trey Murphy of the Pelicans (12-37) led all scorers with 40 points. It was a pretty amazing performance for New Orleans, especially with Zion Williamson out. 

Meanwhile, the Celtics are 34-15 and maintain their first-place lead in the Atlantic. 

The Sixers come to the Garden for a 6:00 pm game on Sunday.
